Football Starts for draftees (anyone without a team) July 29, 2009 at 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM Royal High School Practice field located across the street from St Rose. Seniors Only will start on July 27, 2009 at 5:30 PM (Royal High)

Football conditioning for all players starts Aug 3, 2009 at Royal High 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Total Cost $295.00

Includes all equipment and two jerseys.

No hidden fees

Cheerleaders $150

Players should be present to get fitted for their football gear. This season the Vikings will be limiting the number of teams.

Important Upcoming Events

Monday, July 27^th2009 - Senior Division Camp starts (no team practices, no pads allowed)

Wednesday, July 29th 2009 - All players in the draft (Any Player not assigned to a team only)

Saturday, August 1st 2009 - Coaches draft teams and notify their teams on Sunday

Monday, August 3^rd 2009 - Mandatory Conditioning practices allowed to start (no team practices, pads are allowed for only those who have completed their 10 hours of conditioning)

Friday, August 7^th 2009 - First Day of Team Practice allowed

Saturday, August 8th 2009 – Mandatory Head Coaches Meeting ( Westlake HS )

Saturday, September 12^th 2009 – First Game of the Season

Saturday, August 15^th 2009 – Weigh ins for those who cant make Aug 22

Saturday, August 15^th 2009 – Book Certification at Westlake High

Saturday, August 22^nd 2009 – Certification Date* (location Westlake High)

Sunday, August 23rd 2009 Bowl A Thon Fundraiser Brunswick Bowl Mandatory for all teams

Saturday November 28^th 2009 – SUPER BOWL

LIVESCAN will be done before July 15. All coaches and team moms - cost is $15 per person

* There will only be one certification date this year. Players that cannot make the dates will need to Weigh in on August 15, 2009.

Season Length: Regular season would be 8-9 games depending on division size.

This year GCYFL will have Three Division Structure with playoffs. Super Bowl for A division only- Conference games for Divisions 2 & 3 Champions (Formerly known as B & C Divisions)
